Laura Buzzard

Laura (she/her) is a performance artist and educator based in Philadelphia. Laura received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of The Arts. Before her work at PlayArts, Laura taught dance to children ages K-6 and worked closely with families as a nanny. She has always been interested in working with young children and was excited by the idea of combining this interest with her love for the arts. At PlayArts, Laura enjoys exploring all facets of art with her students and often takes inspiration from students’ work in creating her art. Outside the classroom, Laura enjoys reading, cooking, and crafting with friends.
