INNA KIMBROUGH
Inna (she/her) is a visual artist originally from Georgia, transplanted to Philly. She specializes in painting and drawing, and also works in printmaking and sculpture. She earned her BA in Studio Art from Swarthmore College in 2021, and studied painting at the Mount Gretna School of Art in the summers of 2021 and 2024. She has also completed an apprenticeship at the Fabric Workshop and Museum. Her varied experiences in teaching art to K-12th graders has led her to continue work as a youth educator in the arts, with a focus on encouraging experimentation, following one’s creative impulses, and expressing the soul through a carefully chosen medium. She believes that the impulse to create art is a critical element of the human spirit, and is excited to foster a sense of joy and discovery at PlayArts.
